Fume Extraction Systems for Labs & Industry
Hazardous fumes are often generated by welding, pharmaceutical, and other industrial activities, exposing your company to numerous problems. The less protected your workers are from these fumes, the more likely it is you’ll face increased medical costs and legal action.
With our custom-designed systems, you can rest assured that any hazardous dust, gases, and other air contaminants are effectively and efficiently extracted from your work site, in compliance with the latest industry and legal standards.
Our cutting-edge extraction systems process fumes and other harmful airborne materials like so:
- Fumes and other airborne contaminants get sucked into our “first-contact” extraction units, which may consist of any combination of the following:
- Fume Cupboards and Fume Extraction Canopies: Stationary systems that capture fumes or harmful dust at specific points within factories or laboratories.
- Nederman Extraction Arms: Air purification systems similar in function to cupboards or canopies, but can be easily repositioned to different areas where dust or fumes may originate.
- Once sucked in, contaminated air passes through our system of ducts, fans, and filters for purification.
- Finally, our equipment expels the purified air through an exhaust system.

Ventxlabs System Features and Benefits
With Ventxlabs, you won’t need to spend valuable time searching for the most suitable and cost-effective fume extraction solutions for your company.
We design, customise, install, and maintain the following systems to ensure you get the best performance while staying within budget:
Maintenance and Compliance
We continue to support you even after your fume extraction systems and ductwork have been installed.
Whether your fume extraction systems are installed by us or another company, we can inspect and maintain them to ensure continued compliance with the leading British and European standards, including BS EN 14175 and DW/154.

With our drive to maintain BS EN 14175 compliance, you can rest assured your fume cupboards are rigorously tested at least once every 14 months for safety, performance, and alignment with UK-based COSHH regulations.
We also ensure your ductwork safely conducts hazardous air contaminants out of your work site, in accordance with the high standards of DW/154. Specifically, we check if:
- All your ductwork is manufactured from grey rigid ventilation tube
- All site joints are fully welded for integrity
- Ductwork is sized to keep induct air velocities below 7m/sec to guarantee low noise levels
