Our education client, Saint Michael’s School, in Liverpool required an alternative layout to their existing lab, in order to accommodate 30+ pupils. 

As well as accommodating increased bodies, ample storage, and M&E connections were also required. In addition, careful consideration of materials for worktops & furniture was needed, to ensure they were hardwearing, easy to clean, and chemical resistant.

Bringing together the school business manager and teaching staff, collectively we sought to optimise the available floor space to accommodate the required class size and formulate layout ideas.

This collaborative approach allowed all stakeholders to bring ideas during the design phase. This ensured we achieved exactly what the school required.

In just four weeks the existing lab was transformed, with excellent results.
